Newcomer’s Gathering
Most of us experience a range of emotions when we encounter a new environment for the first time. We get it! We’ve all been there. And we remember the questions we had when we first started dating our spouse. Is this the one? Are we going in the same direction? Do we share the same values and beliefs? We think the process of joining a church family is in some ways like dating a future spouse. We know neither one of us is perfect, but we want to explore these all important questions.
Our Newcomer’s Gathering is a one-time gathering that meets periodically over a meal. Whether you’ve been attending for a day or a year, this gathering is a great way to learn MSC’s story, leadership structure, system of accountability, finances, vision and core values. This is where you can bring all those important questions.
